10.-12. aprillil Lissabonis.
The International
Centre on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CIDESC) is a think tank in
action, working to promote and raise the awareness of Economic, Social
and Cultural Rights.
Through debate, innovative thinking, research, lobbying
and advocacy CIDESC aims at helping the development of a fair and equitable
world.
CIDESC
is now organising its second International Conference, Citizenship in an
enlarged Europe: the contribution of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights,
which will take place in Lisbon (Portugal)
during the 10th, 11th and 12th April 2008.
We
consider that the subject of the conference is of utmost importance. The debate
of related issues intends to contribute for the development of fairness,
justice and dignity across the world.
To guarantee
wide participation in the Conference it is important that experts on Economic,
Social and Cultural Rights as well as representatives from different sectors of
society get involved. Hence, we write you this e-mail in order to invite you to
the conference and also to ask your help in its advertising. We would much
appreciate if you could send the information to all your contacts or to persons
that might be interested.
In
the attachments sent with this e-mail you will find detailed information about
the conference's programme, location and the registration form.
